The Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business is an advanced degree designed to prepare and equip managers with the knowledge and competencies necessary to administer controllable forces within their organizations to adapt successfully to variables and changes in the uncontrollable environment.
The MBA program prepares qualified students for middle and upper-level management leadership responsibilities in international business. Using a general management focus and strategic approach, students demonstrate broad and integrated knowledge of business functions; knowledge of ethical and legal considerations and the social responsiveness to resolve corporate and public issues; analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills and use of technology related to business decision-making; communication and interpersonal skills to lead groups and business organizations; a deeply critical assessment of the importance of the dynamic and global environment and its influence on organizations, decisions and operations; and competencies to formulate and implement strategic decisions.
This one-year program has US accreditation with the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE). Students graduating from this program will be awarded two diplomas, the MB in International Business (accredited in Ireland) and the Master of Business Administration (accredited in the US).

Applicants applying for this program should have a degree that is comparable to an Irish Level 8 Bachelor (Honours) degree in a cognate discipline.
All applicants are asked to complete the same application process whether or not they have a sufficient degree. We will assess the application for direct admission and if not possible, students may be offered a place on our bridging year.
The bridging year is meant to build a foundation of the prerequisite intended learning outcomes for participation in the program or to increase a student's level of education to Level 8. The length of this bridging program depends on the amount of prerequisite learning outcomes achieved by the applicant, but normally will not exceed one year.
Along with the academic knowledge students receive throughout their program, they will also acquire and develop transferable career skills from their degree discipline.
