The four-year Bachelor of Arts in Hospitality Management provides a sound foundation of business modules in the first year and thereafter offers a well-rounded selection of general education modules, two hospitality management internships and a range of modules focusing on the essential elements of hospitality management and its related fields in international business, event management and tourism disciplines. During the final year, students complete a hospitality management research project.
The degree can also be taken on an accelerated track, which allows students to complete the program in three years by taking the internship components (normally taken in the second and third years) during summer semesters. The blend of theory and the two semester-long internships give students the best of both the practical and academic worlds.
