If an EU student has begun their classes, the following refund policy takes effect:
Non-EU
If a Non-EU student requires an entry visa, they must send their visa application documents to (degree@iamu.edu) before applying for the visa.
The student must provide documentary evidence of the visa refusal. The college may also request confirmation from Irish Immigration that the visa has been refused.
The student must confirm in writing that they do not wish to proceed with an appeal and wish to terminate the application. We will then send the refund request form, once this is received, the refund will be processed within 20 working days, as required by the Irish Immigration authorities.
If a study visa has been approved and classes have commenced there is no refund of fees.
If an EU student has begun their classes, the following refund policy takes effect:
• If a student has paid fees for a semester, there is no refund once Semester 1 classes begin.
• If a student has paid fees for the full academic year, they are entitled to a refund for their Semester 2 tuition fees, providing he or she has not commenced any classes in that semester.
• If a student has paid fees for the full academic year, they are entitled to a refund for their Semester 2 tuition fees, providing he or she has not commenced any classes in that semester.
Non-EU
